What's your water testing schedule? Do you test Ph, Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates everytime you test? I assume on a cycled tank that's been up and running for a while with no change in stock you wouldn't need to test much but Nitrates to see when its time to do a water change. Do you the other tests more regularly? If so which and how often.

even though i have a master test kit, i rarely test my water. However, if suddenly the water gets cloudy or something (its rarely happened), i will test it. also, if a fish isnt looking good i test

I'll test a new tank weekly until it settles (all parametres)...then I test occaisionally...esp. if something changes (fish dies unexepectedly, added more than 2-3 new fish)...

I don't test hardly ever in an established tank. I do large water changes weekly and gravel cleaning and that keeps the levels good.

Well that's good to hear! I'm doing pretty much the same. I get all test crazy when I get a new tank going then it just kinda tapers off once thinks are looking good.
