My favorite betta “Little Girl” died today. I had her since January. Somehow she managed to jump two inches out of her aquarium while I was at work. When I noticed that she was missing I looked all over for her. The last place she could be was the garbage disposal, and sure enough, there she was. She got out and managed to flop her way down there.
She was such a good little hunter. Always on the prowl for little creatures to eat, whether I’d put any in the aquarium or not. She once ate an entire crystal red shrimp. I still don’t know how she got it down.
