Gravel Change

I am in the beginning of a fishless cycle and I wish to change to a Flourite gravel. Should I change soon or is it okay to change gravel later on? I wish to do a FULL gravel change.

If I do it after my cycling, will I lose my bacteria?

Changing your gravel will cause you to lose your bacteria, but I would do it now, since you are in the middle of fishless cycling. It is far better to have your tank recycle when there are no fish in it than when there are.

Just a hint with fluorite, it initially gets cloudy and overnight it gets crystal clear. wash it under a shower for a bit though to get rid of fine dust
