Hi everyone. I bought a red crayfish about two weeks ago for my 40 gallon common tank. He seems to get along fine with the other fish and has since molted twice.
After molting the first time, I noticed something funny about one of his eyes..it wasnt a shiny black color like the other is and how it was when I bought him...it looked a little foggy, like there was a film over it.
Now after molting a second time, the same eye is almost the color of his underside, a pale yellowy white.
Both eyes are there, just one looks funny.
It almost seems like he wasn't able to molt over that spot both times, but I don't know if crayfish molt the outer layer of their eyes too.
Does anyone know what this is, what may have caused this and if there is anything I can do to fix this?
Please help me and my crayfish! Thanks
