Yesterday I bought 2 swordtail from my 20 gallon tank from a local pet store. I let my little brother pick them out. Today, I noticed that the male's tail fin sort of curves upward and there is a weird bump in the area right before the scales end and the fin begins. Is this a sign of malnutrition or is it just a birth defect?
