Looks good, wasn't sure if they would be long enough, but the leaves sit ontop of the water so they should live!!

Kind of hard to anchor them since Heff my oscar, does like to chew on things lol

Try Java ferns. They are the only plants my comets don't destroy. :hmm3grin2orange:

Java ferns dont last either lol My oscar has no problem ripping those up.

The bamboo is kind of wedged between the grate up top and the sand. So, he shouldn't be able to move it around too easy.

Can try frogbit or dwarf water lettuce. If you got goldfish toss in a bit of duckweed and they'll mow it down. They all grow quick so hard to run out of them. Good luck with the bamboo.

Is that a golfball or ping pong ball in there? I got a floating ping pong ball in my bettas tank he plays with.

Its a golf ball lol Every now and again my oscar goes to town on it. I keep meaning to find a bright pink one or something.

The bamboo should work. The leaves are best out of the water.
Nice tank!

Get some floating plants and be done with it. The Oscar will tear out the bamboo, most likely, and it doesn't live long term in fish tanks. Longer with the tops out of the water but even then not for too long.

I have a lucky bamboo plant that has its roots in the filter that I've had for 3 years now.

I used to have floating plants, then my Silver dollars ate all my hornworts.

I really dont care about plants anymore, title I guess is a bit of a joke. I saw these at home depot for 3$ each and thought "hey, if they last as long as my old bamboo plant, that would be sweet"
I like them
