Due to sixteen year-old fish store employees, I need a plant ID. I know I've seen this before, but for the life of me cannot remember what it is called.

There is a huge database of plants over on http://plantgeek.net/plantguide.php that you can skim through by looking at the pictures, lighting requirements, and type of plant. Shouldn't ludwigia repens have a bit of purple to it. Doesn't look like the ludwigia I have.

It does have a bit of a reddish purple shade in the new growth and underside of the leaves. I'm guessing it may not have been grown under appropriate lighting or had enough iron. I've only had it for four days, so it is hard to say if it will get redder.

That sounds about right. I forgot about that. Actually had that exact problem in the past.
