Damaged fish

I came home from work today to discover that my guppies have been fighting the "new guy" all day long. If anyone has any advice for how to rescue the loser of this fight, please let me know. He is a male guppy, his back tail fin is torn to pieces and he has no color. I set up a new tank for him with some plants so he could be alone. He has trouble swimming because of his tail. If anyone has any advice, to save him now or how to heal a sick fish in general if something similar happens in the future, please let me know.

thanks, i have melafix in there now and I will get pimafix for him tomorrow too
