I've moved the adult RCS out of my 3 gallon breeder and into a 10 gallon, and I've been touching up the planting in the nano tank. I had my hand in for a minute while I was re-rooting a plant, and while my finger was fairly still, about three baby RCS came over and landed on it. Of course, this made me keep my hand in the tank, still, for a little while longer. Soon, a whole swarm of them were on my finger. It was really adorable. Then, I realized that they were probably eating dead skin off of my hand. Slightly less adorable.

I figured I would share this experience in case anyone else found it as intriguing as I do (and/or wanted to try this experiment on their own).

Sometimes they can even decide to clean under your nail... But the feeling is somewhat... troubling...:ssuprised:

LOL!! People pay big bucks for aquatic animals to clean their dead skin off!
