Hello again, I am from Peru. I have a 20 gallon tank with 4 fish and some new babies ( 4 days old ). Two dalmatians and two red sword tail. I had some troubles with the clarity of the water so I just changed the filter to a Emperor 280 but I am not really sure if it is working OK. The intake tube goes all the way down almost tuching the gravel. Is that right?

Yes, that's fine...as long as it's not actually IN the gravel...but you can just move a litte of the gravel out of the way...

You don't want the intake tube too short either, so it's best to have it as close to the bottom as you can.

Unless of course, you run two filters...then one intake can be in the middle of the tank.

But for a 20g I think what you have is perfect.

Hello again!

Well fianlly the water is clear as water = ) I used a Algae destroyer and got rid of the problem in hours. My tanks loos pretty neat now. All the fish look fine.
