Powers just gone out what should I do?

Power has been out for 40 mins how long can my fish last without the filter/heater? Having to use very slow phone to type this :scry: Please help

You're okay for several hours at least. What's your tank temperature compared to room temperature? If you're afraid of losing a lot of heat, wrap some blankets or whatever you have around the tank to insulate it.

Depends on size of tank and how many fish you have but I agree they will be fine for several hours.

Called power company power will be off for another 3 hours it's weird there ain't even a storm my tank is at 28degrees it's 9pm so it's pretty cold here just wrapped the tank best I could

What I did during a 21 hour outage is pour out water into a bucket and just pour back into the tank, rapidity, to oxygenate the tank some. 4 hours they should still be fine.

Tank is 100litres so 35 gallons or so I have 25 fish all small tetra, Cory ect
