I was doing a water change today and my betta got a small wound in the process. He was, for some strange reason, hiding in a cave where I pour the water over and that disrupted the stones slightly and he got caught and scraped his back. It's a very small cut, just before his dorsal fin and behind his head, no larger than a millimeter in any direction.

Do you recommend I do anything to treat it, or should I leave it be and let it heal on its own?

Clean water is a great treatment but a bit of melafix might ward off any infections if your worried.
It should heal fast.

You could use salt or just leave it alone since it's a small cut. It should heal.

Clean water should do the job. Just keep an eye for any kind of infection.

I'll probably leave it alone, because I don't want to be dosing the whole tank, and I don't want to take him out for dosing if it's not serious. I'll probably just do two water changes a week instead of one.

Yes, just keep his water nice and clean, I had this recently too, it went away fairly quickly, good luck!
