Especialy for our beginners and newbies.

The Fog is just a normal thing which accurs while redecorating, setting up a new tank, or just trying to catch fish.

So normally its a nuisance, but it can look pretty mysteriously.

Here some of my "Fog impressions"

The fog effect is due to different reasons though, in particular bacteria bloom and debris (from your sand in this case), and should be treated differently. If it's a bacterial bloom, it means your water parameters are still out of wack and you need to keep an eye on it. If it's from debris, then just wait it out.

Both tanks are mine.

The second pic shows my 112 litres tank after the setup and planting. The plants are from the big tank.

After more ar less 6 or 7 months it looks this way.

Once again, you have knocked yourself out and have an AWESOME TANK. You kill me.

And now I am going to throw this whole thread off topic for a minute.

I can not find the clay balls you posted about anywhere online. I thought you had posted a picture of them and now I can't even find the picture. If I can't find them here in the US, I will dig some clay from where my son is about to build a new home.

Secondly.......you posted a picture not long ago showing your canister filter and your set up in your tank cabinet. Andrea, you have your electrical power strip sitting right next to your canister filter. If that filter ever leaks, your power cord will get wet. Is there a way you can hang it to the side of that cabinet? I've been thinking about this ever since I saw your picture. haha My power stips have holes on the back of them for hanging and mine are all hung up on the wall behind the cabinets. Makes me feel better knowing they are away from the source of water.

OK.........sorry to screw up your thread.

hmmmm, with the power source an my canister filter, your totally right.

I will rearange that setup. But one things for sure, I dont fear an electricity problem, when that canister leaks, but my nightmare is:

450 litre water in my condo:help: thank heaven I live in the groundfloor, so it wont leak down 3 or 4 floors....
