I have 3 peppered corys in a 20 gallon tank. 2 of them are always together, but one is always on like the other side of the tank doin his own thing. Is anything wrong?

Maybe he was thrown out of school? If he is eating and active I would not worry. You shoul add a couple more to the group, that would make them all happier.

A larger group would make them all happier. I've always heard that corries do best in groups of 6. I have also heard of stories about a weird cory or two that doesn't think it's a cory. Sometimes they school with other fish. I guess that much personality in a fish that small and you're bound to get a weird one here and there.

I have Corys in my 29 and 55 gallon. I always got 6 or 8, so more so merrier.
Talking about odd friendships, one of my clownloaches piles up with the dojos.

I used to have a SAE who hung out with the giant danios. I've had a cory who ignored the others. He was a Julii cory and died. When I got another Julii to replace him he died too. I think the Julii's I got had some kind of sickness. Corys will do alright alone but are much happier with friends. I would recommend that you get more.
