This is just TOO much.

Last semester of school, my science teacher was away for a week before finals, and we had a substitute, that was okay, stuff happens, and i failed the final with 49%.

This semester, i have the same teacher for math. and guess what? the week before finals, he gets food poisoning and hasnt been in since friday. thats bad luck. and whats worse, we have a sub now that cant speak much english

someone called be about my tanks for sale too. I talked for a bit and they said that they dont need more, they just wanted to see the prices. They also said they have 2 of wal-marts 55g's and theyre good

Oh dear...you need to keep your grades up...what are you doing next year?

...and tire-kickers are the reason I never list anything for sale...

after grade 12 i want to be a cop. Im gonna take a year from school then i may join the city police or the RCMP. With the RCMP, you dont need college, but with the city ones you do. I would prefer being a city cop though.

...isn't it the other way around?

nope. The city does want more cops but they really want you to take a year or two of criminal tech. Doesnt really bug me much:c7:

Good friend of mine was a sculptor, and he's decided to become a cop.
He'll be a damned good one, he's always really good at dealing with people who are angry.

He probably has arms like tree trunks too. Especially if he's a stone sculptor. :c2:

You can always take classes to get the police degrees you need. You need to know a bunch about the laws in your area as well as how to spot the nut cases. And of course the physical training. What gets me is you see city cops that are 75 pounds overweight and they couldn't run 10 feet if they wanted. Seems once they pass the physicals they are allowed to just get fat and lazy. We have some here that I could out run and I can't run to my mailbox. LOL

About your finals. Having a sub for one week does not mess with what you have learned all year. The tests are prepared well in advance. Having a sub for a short while does not make you flunk and you can't blame your sub for that.

i cant blame it on the sub at all- its all me. It would be nice to have the real teacher though since he had tons of stuff we needed to know and the sub just sits there picking her teeth

I don't get overweight cops either. I think it would be in everyone's best interests if they had a yearly physical endurance test they had to take. It would motivate them to stay trim and healthy.

speaking of trim and healthy, i just got back from moving the 55g. Talk about hard work. First of all, i had to take it from the back of the store, and of course people are in my way when im trying to move it. But, alas, i have it safe and sound in my house now

You are a trip with those fish tanks. Either buying or selling. LOL

PS........You need to study more and buy fish tanks less. thumbs2:

It's rather discusting to see some fat slob of a cop. You know he'd die if he had a struggle with someone. I also think they need to have physical quidelines to follow and be put on desk duty until they can follow procedure.

OMG, finally got it set up. My back feels like a elephant stepped on it, but it looks pretty good. Its starting to thunderstorm so at least i have something to look at

...I'm a tad confused though...

...why buy the 55g new? Why not find a used one, like you did you other tanks?

cocoa_pleco

couldnt find any used ones, and people were selling used 33g's for the same price as a new 55 for some reason
