Help Please

Hi my livebearers seem to be scratching up against plants and any thing else i have in tank. Wandering wether it is that gill disease I thought i read something about water change and add 1 tblsp salt to water and increase temperature slowly up about 4 degrees. Can some one help me.

could be ich or parasites. The fish are trying to stimulate their slime coat or brush off the parasites. Wait for worms or white spots and treat accordingly

Actually, live bearers like salt in their tank. You mentioned 1 T but not how many gallons you have. Generally 1 to 10 gallons is about average. I've even gotten salt that says 1 T per 5 gallons.
