Otos being purchased today.

I just got word from my LFS that they got some Otos in today. Currently I have a planted tank with driftwood. Will I need to setup some 'houses' for these lil guys?

not sure what you mean by "houses"... they'll appreciate your plants, the more the better.

One suggestion, though. It's often a good idea to wait a while after a store gets a new shipment of fish. Some of the weak ones will not survive the adjustment after the shipment and will die in a few days. No point in buying those. Wait a week or two so you can choose from the survivors. That goes doubly for fragile fish like otos.

As long as they have cover and enough to eat, they should be fine. Before you buy them, make sure they have fat little bellies if they look shrunken they will not survive very long.

Not particularly, as long as there's a bit of plant cover they should be fine.I also agree with Brhino, and it's even more important with otos. They're known to die soon after being purchased.
