View Full Version : Problem seeing killi's colors

I have a curious question. I have Fundulopanchax Gardneri Misaje killifish -- the coloring is a blue base with red spots and yellow on the fins for the males. In my tank, the color on the males looks brown mostly--you can see the colors if you're up close and really looking. But, when I view them in plain daylight in a tank with no light, I can see all their colors much more easily. I have a 96W PC bulb that is dual daylight - 6700K & 10K combined.

Anyone else have this problem and have a solution? I just bought two new bulbs so it's too bad I can't see the fish's colors that well! It is very easy to see the colors on the cardinal tetras in the tank. Any ideas?
