We've got a little 5g going with some betta rutilans (doing fine BTW) and we'd like to paint a background.

We're thinking of using glass paint to paint a little background. Something simple, a few leaves with a blue background.

Has anyone tried this? Any precaution, other than don't get the paint in the water? Would the vapours be toxic?

Thanks.

If you are painting in doors then use a latex paint.
I brushed on a black finishon my tank.
The fumes would have to be real bad to effect the fish.I think most paints are fine as long as they stay on the outside of the tank.
Krylon Fusion is safe inside the tank.
