So, I recently got this plant and, I am needing some help identifying it. I tried to get as close and clear of a picture as possible. Also, the underbelly of the leaves/needles tend to shimmer a shade of purplish-pink.

Anyone who would be willing to help, that would be amazing! Thanks!

Green Cabomba, maybe?

If it is, that plant needs tonnes of light, CO2, and nutrients...and even then, it can be a pain.

I think it is cabomba as well. If you have enough light it will grow like a weed.

If you don't have enough light, the leaves break off and spread across the tank & clog filters.

Thanks for the quick response. I've tried to look it up online but, there are many plants that look similar in appearance. I was thinking it might be hornwort.

It's definitely a type of cabomba or fanwort and not hornwort. Google cabomba aquatica or cabomba caroliniana for pictures.
