My brother has a 9 ounce tank from paintball, how long will that last my 29 gallon?
And would a paintball tank even fit the regulator i bought?

It would last a month or two, it will not fit the regulator. You may be able to get an adaptor, I am not positive though.

Thats what I thought :violin:
So what do u think, should i break down and buy a new aluminum tank, so i know its safe a will work or buy an older steel used one or something, pressurized gas is not the safest and it is in the living room so i kinda nervous lol. SHould i get a 2.5lb, a 5lb or a 10 lb?

5 lbs would last a long time. As long as the tank has the current test stamp it will be safe. CO2 is a harmless gas, the only danger is if the tank fell and the top snapped off making it a rocket. That is extremely unlikely. The "Myth Busters" needed to hit it with a sledge hammer to do it.

Call around and find the local places where they fill up co2 tanks. Welding supply shops, fire extinguisher places, are a good source. Could also see if there are any shops nearby that have supplies for folks who brew their own alcohol, can get co2 there. Many places that refill helium tanks will do it as well. A lot of times you take in your empty tank and they give you one that is full in exchange.

Go for a 5lb it'll last you a while. Plus it's a fairly common size, so should have no problems getting it filled or exchanged.

Do you have an Airgas (http://www.airgas.com/customer_service/site_locator.aspx) near you? They do CO2 service.
