All of my current tanks are being no work, so this is what im gonna do. Im gonna take one of my 10g's out and put something in it.:28:
For equipment, i have a all-glass 50W heater, the largest aquaclear, hood, and incandescent light. I was originally going to go for 5 platys and 4 Dwarf frogs, but anyone else have better suggestions?

watch out for those livebearers reproducing, but other than that it sounds sweet. I always thought Dwarf frogs would be pretty sweet in a tank so lmk how it goes...

I am all prepared for breeding, in fact, i want them to breed.
I havent bred fish for a few years, and want to. A few days ago, my corys laid a few eggs, but otherwise nothing new with breeding. If only i could re-create chronas old awesome planted 10g
The largest Aquaclear is a 110. I'm just thinking that the 110 on a 10 gallon tank would be like being at ground zero! Wouldn't you end up with pureed fish?

The flow actually isnt too bad, only about 2X the flow of a mini. I figure this way i can overstock a bit
Really? Wow, you should be able to stock the you-know-what out of it. Very cool. If we lived closer together I'd give you some of my swordtails! Still struggling on how to go about splitting them up for the growout tanks.

yeah, Unless you are dealing with fry, flow probably isn't a problem. You could always try to modify one of the aquaclear foam blocks as a prefilter on the intake too if you have problems.
I was at my LFS getting rid of some guppies, and they had an interesting setup for breeding mollies. It was a simple overflow/pump-return sump setup, so the fry are sucked down into the sump and then the return is pre-filtered such that the fry are not sucked in. Basically automatically sorts your fry out into a spearate tank where the adults can't munch on them. I just figured I would throw that out there, but you probably know what your doing with the standard isolation processes (which will probably have a higher survival rate anyway). Figured I would throw that out in case you wanted a bit of a DIY project :).
good luck!
Interesting idea, not sure if it is the most effective to avoid injuring the fish, but very interesting idea. Mollies breed like wildfire, so I guess a few extra fatalities wouldn't matter anyway. To a LFS, that is.

The frogs sounds very cool!. Maybe you could try buying tadpoles? Or you could even grab a net for about 5 bucks and go fish for a few, ive fished a bucnh. The only reason i didn't keep them was that they could have unwanted bacterias..But yeah frpgs sounds really interesting!

frogs and platys it is! platys are 5/10$ on sale, and the frogs are 2/5$on sale this week.
I may combo the aquaclear and a canister filter that i have. Its a oscar brand one, and its tiny and hangs on the back of the tank and has intake/output tubes with a spraybar and its good for 20g. With so much filtration, i could easily get a goldfish in there but thats a slight chance, leaning for the platy/frog combo.

so far on all my reading ive seen they need 2-3G each.
The main problem i think is that theyre so small. That could pose a problem. I'll go to petsmart and think

so far i got some larger natural gravel, 6 plastic plants, and one of those car ornaments from petsmart that bubbles and the roof pops up.
I saw dwarf puffers, and theyre TINY! way smaller than i remembered mine to be. I think i'll start with platys since petsmart is having a store sale and platys, black skirt tetras, long finned danios, and mystery snails are all 5/5$
