Help - :confused: is it fry or disease..anyone know???

I have tetras, I think they are glo lights and I think they are either sick or they may have fry that have attached to thier sides? I see tail fins but can't get close enough to see if they are tetras - is there a disease or has anyone had this happen to them???? Need answers - as I originally thought that the tetra's fins were being chewed by the other tetras, but I have 5 Tetras, and three of them have like 2 or four of these things hanging off of them. I was not trying for fry but won't be disappointed if they are - would hate to lose my tetras, or goldfish to a disease that could be prevented.

Definitely not fry, some type of parasite

anchor worms. Treat with a copper treatment or anti-parasite treatment. This is a result from poor water due to overstocking. If the worms are large, remove them manually with tweezers

Oh Oh. As posted above, you have a problem. Treat for parasites immediately. Fry do not hang off the parents.
