The picture didn't come out the clearest.........and this was right after a water change, so there is a little debris here and there.

WOW! Now that's a planted tank! It looks so natural. The fish will never know they are in a tank! HA! Did you get the plants at AquaTek?

Aquatek was the ONLY place in town that I could find who had an algae ball, but other then that..........most of the plants are ebay plants.
One of them from Austin Aquariums, and a couple from petsmart.
In the picture, the very right side of the tank looks really really planted, but its not. Just bad lighting in the picture.

It looks a little more crowded in the picture then it really does in person.
I've gotta take a better picture sometime.

Looks very nice. While some ppl might find a heavily planted tank to be crowded, I find them awesome. As far as I can tell, fishies love the security of hiding between the plant stalks, and tanks like yours look like a litle piece of a natural eco system.
:D
Beautiful! That's how I like to see tanks decorated! :malelovies:
Really nice job, can't wait to see more pics as the plants grow!

I'm jealous.
I'm waiting for the perfect oppotunity to turn my 30g. into fairly densly planted tank (read: need lighting).
Looks very good...and I'm sure your fish appreciate NATURAL plants, and all those places to hide behind. It's like a maze to swim from end to end! LOL

@ Wilisrad
I found out on pics tanks always look either more crowded, more dirtier, darker and whats the worst thing is for me; as if they are only 5 inches deep:hmm3grin2orange:
Just give your plants some decent light, a drop of liquied fertilizer here and there, maybe CO2 and time, and then all of a sudden you fish will be swimming in a circle on a demonstartion:spam: (like this) and they will shout: Give us more space, cut away some plants...we want to SWIM !!!:c7:
Its always funny to watch fish squeezing thmeselves thru an underwater jungle, to get fed. When this happens, you know its time to find your sizzors.
Did I mention? Nice setup:c3:
