They were straight from the camera, so quite big... I will try to shrink them and try again. Thx for the tip :D

How to upload pictures to our gallery (http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/aquariumforum/showthread.php?t=13138)

Above is directions for the photo gallery but if you want to post pictures here, you can either "in the body of the posts" add a link to a website where your photo is stored. I use photobucket.

Or you can also post right from your computer files by clicking on the blue Post Reply button and UNDER the posting box you will see Add Attachments. They must be properly sized before some will load up, however, but if you do have a problem you will know it just needs resized. I post pictures there generally 800 pixels in length and they work fine.

There is a tool I use for XP- its here-

direct download link- http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

Basically once you install this, you select what pictures you want to resize, right click them, and go to resize. It pops up with a small box asking how big you want them and lists some of the common sizes. Click ok and it creates a new file, scaled down to whatever size you need. Really handy tool. The "large" setting works for this forum -1024x768.

If you use photobucket thats cool too, but I can't see them at work..lol. (some big companies block photobucket)

Managed to upload 4 pics :D

Lady Hobbs: Okay, so I used photoshop to shrink the pics a little. 800 pixels wide works well.

Amazon: I use photobucket, but it doesn't take my pics at full size, since I'm not a paying member.

Scrup: I'll look into it, but since I use Photoshop on a regular basis, I'll just shrink them there. Forces me to look at colour and light anyhow. Hehe.

There's a setting in your options in photobucket to load photos to the size you request. I have mine set there for the 800 pixel. Check your options there. You will also get the "tags" under the photos of which to use. Here it is the IMG tag.
