Found these guys doing a google search for some plants:
http://www.tricker.com/
They're more focused on ponds than aquariums, but they've got a pretty significant selection of beginner's aquarium plants in the "oxygenating pond plants" section. The prices seem really good, including the shipping. Has anyone ordered from them before? I may have to give it a try.

NO, but you would think he would change his name.

I've never heard of him. Too bad it doesn't have some customer reviews or a feedback section. I rely heavily on past users comments myself.

hmm... first, the name:

William Tricker (1852-1916) was an English-born estate gardener. He trained at Kew Gardens in London, before emigrating to the United States in the later 19th century. His interest was in aquatic plants, and he began a company, named William Tricker, that specialized in aquatic plants. The company sent out its first mail order catalog in 1892, and is still operating, as William Tricker, Inc. based in Independence, Ohio.

They must be doing all right, to stay in business for one hundred and eighteen years!

I found a couple sites that did have reviews. They're sort of mixed, I guess:
