Is this stocking good?

In a 5 gallon tank, would 3 guppies work? 1 male, 2 females? If that wouldn't work than what would you reccomend? (No bettas please & shrimp except ghost shrimp)

I would say 3 male guppies may work. A 5 gallon is small, for guppys and they should really have a 10 gallon, but if you keep up on water changes you should be fine. The reason I say male guppys is because females will quickly over populate your aquarium.

Thanks. Since 5 gallons are small tanks, I do water changes (15-20%) 2 times a week.

I would do 50% water changes once a week instead. It gets more of the waste and other contaminants out of the water. I have a 5 gallon and 50%-60% water changes take me 5 minutes white the bucket method.

If you're willing to do some hunting/asking around, there are some really cool nano fish that would be good for a 5 gallon
