I managed to get a few pis of my gold stripe pleco (L169). I got him almost 4 weeks ago and this little guy is a expert at hiding. Now that he is in my 90 gallon tank with more drift wood and hiding spots, I’ve been seeing him a lot more over the past two days. It must more like home for him in this tank.

I actually managed to get a few pics of him before my camera completely died. Hopefully I'll be seeing a lot more of him.

Thanks guys :22:

Kathymac, they get about 3 to 4 inches, just a little smaller than a average BN pleco. My guy is about 1/2 fully grown

Very nice pleco.

If you like those kind of patterns, maybe get a few L134 in there or L333. Their patterns are similar and the designs are striking as well. I think the patterns are more defined on the L134 though. Just some food for thought, ^^.

Thanks guys

I looked into other plecos, but I'm limited to the one and only LFS in the city that I would trust. This was the most interesting one that I could get that would not get too big for my tank.

He's starting to get used to his new home now. He's really gettin into his veggies and blood worms.
