Greetings from the college town of Pullman! I got my first 10g last year to combat the ambient noise of the dorms and since then, I've been addicted! I've got a (hardly) perfect 38g planted along with the 10g.

I'll be asking about the 38g here shortly, but I thought I'd say hello first :)

Oh, and not only do I collect fish, I :1: too! Could anymore irony be present? thumbs2:

Welcome - I bet my plants are even less perfect than yours!

I've got two types of vales in there, an Anubias Nana and a Bronze Wendtii. The anubias and wendtii are doing fine... but my vales are slowly browning in the middle of the leaf. I don't know why.

edit: Thanks for the welcome guys!

You are not adding excel to that tank are you, as flourish excel will cause vals to wilt. It may be a product of your lighting, but with no information it is hard to say.

Anyways you would be best to post this in its own thread as it will get more responses and will be in the correct forum.
