Can someone provide me with a site or a list of some plants that do especially well in lower PH, lower GH/KH tanks? (low ph as in.. between 5.8-6.2)

You might get away with lusty rosette plants like swords, but down into the 5s is too acidic. When I raised a group of WC altum youngsters by necessity I had pHs in the low 5s to do so and no plant can grow in that.

My crypts, ludwigia, and cabomba are all taking off.. my broader leafed plants have held steady, and my bulb plants, rotala and some others have died off :help:

I have kept plants such as swords [all common types] nymphae, hygro corym, cabomba, ludwigia, anubis[coffefolia and nana] elodia, wisteria, dwarf water lettuce, creeping jenny.I kept these in ph as low as 6.0 for extended periods of time.My kh was artificially lowered as well as the ph.

I have also kept diandra and rotala. They are actually a very good plant for acidic water and form dense groups with nice red and purplish hues with good light and some form of c02.
