I was just looking at my tank and noticed that at the very bottom, stuck to the glass, are about 15 super tiny sand colored eggs. They are stuck there in a circular shape. And when I say tiny I mean that all fifteen of them take up only 1mm by 2mm of space. I haven't got a clue what these eggs came from, though.

In the tank there's three goldfish, three gold dojo loaches, two chinese algae eaters (temporary additions just added today), about four small ramshorn snails and five large mystery snails (just added today).

My best guess is that it came from the mystery snails but do they lay eggs? I know that dojo loaches are nearly impossible to breed and I'm 98% positive that it couldn't have come from the algae eaters. They look too small to have come from the goldfish.

Any ideas? Sorry I can't post a pic. The eggs are just way too small for my camera to get a clear shot of them.

Snails eggs are laid in a small circular mass and are very small. You picked them up of a plant no dought. sqwish them. Fish love their caviar too.

Sounds to me like they're ramshorn eggs.

yup. ramshorn eggs for sure. Thanks so much. I don't mind if they hatch. I put the ramshorn in on purpose. They clean the tank and are food for the dojo loaches.

Yikes! This mama ramshorn seems to be making her rounds around the tank laying eggs every few inches. Looks like my fish are going to have a feast!
