Does anyone have one of these? I've heard of no one yet that has one but then I've not heard of anyone that has a Marineland canister.

umm, i have an internal filter by them, does that count? I've had it over a year, its super quiet and hasn't given me any trouble at all.

ive heard that theyre good. Ive only had experience with hydors, fluvals, that stupid asian one, and OSCAR canisters, and my uncle in germany has some experience with european ones. i think cascades should be good

Here's the stats on filters if anyone wants to know anything about them.

I've seen Cascade filters in one of our local fish stores, I've never used one, but they look pretty decent. However, one thing I keep in mind when shopping for a filter, is the availability of media for it, and I haven't seen any dedicated media for the Cascades, but I'm sure you can use Fluval media for it, you just might have to play around with it a bit to make it all fit nice and snug.

What about Eheim filters? What media can you use for that? I need to get some media for mine and am having a really hard time finding some for the eheim. Any suggestions?

Teh, look on any of the online sites for the things you need for your filter. Anyone that sells the Eheim has the media for it.
I would think the media for any of these filters would be the same, however.

Thanks Hobbs! I was just hoping that maybe there was cheaper media out there that would work just the same....
