Guppy not eating

I got 5 females and 2 male guppies on friday, and now its been 6 days and one of them isn't eating. He using to just stay in one half of the tank, not hiding, just hanging out, but now he is more active. but at feeding time he never eats. sometimes he'll see food and swim up to it, but he doesn't eat it. i just moved him to a quarantine tank, and gave him some blood worms and flakes, and ive only seen him eat one flake, hes ignoring the rest.

also im wondering if he has tail rot or something, hes got a split tail but i assumed it was supposed to be like this because all the fish in the tank had similar tails. the ammonia and everything in the tank is fine. and ive been using melafix since i got him.

Why are you using Melafix? Are they ill? What size tank? Temps? He may be eating, just foraging so that you are not seeing it?

guppies forage on algae, but turning down flakes is a red flag in my book. When a couple of my guppies got fin rot, they continued to eat. they also like frequent water changes.

Weak/sick fish maybe. Watch the others very closely.

Like said before your guppy may be eating. You just might not be seeing it. Also, i believe you have a Lyretail Guppy (split tail) which is perfectly normal.
