Anyone use Pefecto Brand Aquariums and wooden stands?
If so, any issues?

Perfecto and AllGlass are both fine and reputable companies.
Agreed. I don't own one but looked extensively at them on a recent trip to a large pet shop. Looked really nice.

Yeah, I was looking at All Glass, but I couldn't find any locally, only Perfecto, and the price seemed right. I try as much as possible to steer away from anything with the name TopFin as I am angry at their water conditioner atm.
speaking of which....*cough*hack* Bleh
I was using a siphon I made to put the water back into my tank, instead of just pouring the bucket in (was heavy and really tall stand, im short lol) and I got a breath full of treated water *GAG*
I've got 5 extra water pumps from my water cooling setups, I think I will just use one of those and clamps =\ That was aweful. I'm sure going to keep that tank water clean, just incase I get the same thing happen the other way around LOL.
Uh-oh, water cooling, another fellow computer geek in our midst?:thumb:

lol former computer geek. I burned out, I'm on the dulling, not yet rusting edge instead of the bleeding edge now. hehe
Once a computer geek always a computer geek. You are just on a temporary hiatus!

Bought the 29 gallon Perfecto lol
Cool, how do you like it? Going to do a fishless cycle I hope?

I like it, cept for the light and filter system that came with it. For the same price as the tank + heater which I needed anyway, I got the tank, heater, and filter. Penquin200. I knew it would suck, but lets just say I've alredy had to do some mods to shut it up and plan a few more lol.
The light hums, I think it is the transformer. I went to look for a good quality one, but a lot of places around me are selling the same brand I have on the tank already, Marineland. I'll keep looking, but I'm going to take it back if it doesn't stop humming in a few days.
I got the water in itand the fishless cycle has commenced. =)
Some people like the penguins, but I'm with you, I hate them.
The hum may be coming from the ballast somewhere? The fluorescent starter?

Nah, its the transformer that converts the electricity to a much higher voltage, the noise is coming right from it. I left it running for the entire day today while I am at work to see if it just decides to "wear in". If not, I will take it back and see if they will exchange it.
