Here's my very healthy anubias, two years old that still has not attached to the rock they were tied to with fishing line. Nice and green, lots of leaves and roots but sure won't attach. I'm patient to a point but come on now.....2 years?

Try tying with black cotton thread, gently but firmly. I suspect the fishing line was too tight for free circulation for the rhizomes to attach.

Hopefully by the time the thread decays they'll have 'hooked on'.

Could you tell me what kind of Anubias that you have there? It does look real nice, I'm going to get some for my drift wood soon, I'm thinking about the "nana". Thanks

If its a polished rock or a smoother rock perhaps roughing it up with some coarser sand paper will allow it to get a better grip?

my suggestion would be coral glue, aquarium safe and fine to use underwater... holds the rhizome in there without a problem and hasn't done any harm to any of the anubias I've used it on.
