Hello,

I am just setting up my first 135 gallon and I'm wondering if these 2 would get along in a 135 gallon?

I want to be able to keep them in there for a long time and let them grow out and be comfortable.

I figured the grouper would hang out more in the live rock and the trigger would be swimming out in the open.

The Clown Trigger would be a great choice for that tank, the grouper would not. Miniatus Groupers grow too large to be kept in a 135. Minimum for a fish that size is really a 240 or larger, I personally wouldn't keep one in anything smaller than a 300.

Thanks for the response!

I really want the clown trigger, is there anything that it won't eat/beat up in a 135?
