Running two 110's on my 75 and one produces very few bubbles while the other has a ton of them. Both filters are set up the same, foam and bio-media pellets. One filter has two pickup extensions to pull water from near the bottom and the other has only one. The filter with one pickup is the one with all the bubbles. Have checked that both pickups are seated properly.

What else can I do to get rid of all the bubbles ?

Is the tank full to the top? A full tank will give less splash.

Is it near an airstone or some such?

There could be an air leak in the pickup tubes. Maybe a crack developed in one and not the other.

My water level is about 1/4 below the spillways, doing a water change tomorrow and will raise the water level to see if that helps. Don't have any airstones and tried swapping pickup tubes but no difference. All my AQ filters make some bubbles but nothing like this 110 does.

I find it helps to keep the water level up.
I get the bubbles once in a while, not all the time.

Lady Hobbs suggestion of raising the water level did the trick. Water level used to be a 1/4 inch below the filter spillway and now is a 1/4 inch above the spillway with no bubbles at all. Many Thanks. :ssmile:

Glad it helped. Water only needs to break up the surface water. It doesn't need all that splash.
