Its been a few months since I set this up, and so far the oscars have been growing nicely. The filter I made is doing a good job and the parameters stay good. Because of the direct sunlight it gets for part of the day, Theres algae growing on the sides, but I dont mind.

So, here is a question would u have these large tank/bins if you had a winter where u lived? Winter meaning below freezing almost at zero. I love these bins u have created ponds from, i remember the oscars when they were little in ur very beggining of this idea of urs. Great work on the makeshift tanks.

Aeonflame, you are just something else. You are just your own plumber, electrican, builder, fish farmer and fisherman all wrapped up into one handsome package!

That's amazing, I wish I lived in a climate where anything but goldfish were possible in a pond! It would make large fishkeeping so much easier.
very awesome, I envy you.

Sure, here are some photos. I swapped the tank for one with a drain valve at the bottom, so its much easier to do water changes.
