I have a 75 gal with 2wpg t5 lighting, Plants are red amazon sword,Java fern,Anubias, and another small forground plant i cant seem to remember the name of. Only 12 total plants, I also have Clown Loaches, Gold Nugget Pleco, Bristlenose pleco and Tiger barbs. The plants just dont seem to have much growth the one type of sword has gone from a full beautiful plant down to tall skinny stems and very soft weak leaves. I'm not sure what to add if anything. I really dont want to go the co2 route and its too late to change the substrate which is just small gravel about 2 inches deep. I tried once a week adding seachem iron as per the lfs recommendation, it has'nt seemed tpo do much. Any advice would be great, Thank you.

Flourish is fine but swords are iron hogs. I'd get some pellets to stick down in the root system as well as the flourish. My swords also don't do well without pellets.

So try the flourish liquid with tablets that go in the substrate. Should i use flourish tabs or a different brand you might have had good luck with.

I'm not trying to sound stupid here, But dont we try to remove metals from Aquarium water. So is'nt adding iron kinda defeating that purpose. Sorry to keep asking but i have had so many problems in the year i have been doing this. Finally my tanks are clear as can be and all is great, i would hate to ruin that by dumping chemicals in.
