Do members find that Kuhli loaches are good at getting red of tank algae?
I'm thinking of getting another couple for my new tank (for a total of 4 in a 60 litre tank) but should I also get a Bristlenose Catfish too?

Thanks in advance!

To my knowledge almost all loaches never eat algae, they might eat an algae wafer, but that's about it. They are primarily scavengers and gravel feeders eating all the leftover food that shouldn't hit the gravel.

I would be willing to bet my next paycheck that the bristlenose catfish would eat more algae than a kuhli loach.

Here's some information on your kuhli loaches:

Bristlenose is definitely the way to go for algae control. Any loach, or fish for that matter, might nibble algae if it isn't getting other food, but don't expect them to keep any algae at bay.
