38-gallon stocklist?

Hi Everyone,
I got a 38-gallon today for my b'day. I also got an AQ 50 which I put the biomax and sponge in my cycled 20 to jump start a cycle for the new one. How long should I leave them there to aquire beneficial bacteria so I can add with fish to the 38? I also would like some suggestions as to how many and what fish?? I have serpae tetras, black skirts, lemon tetras, cherry barbs and cories in the 20. I really like the tetras, but was thinking some different ones? also will be adding cories to the new one also, delightful little fishes! one or two showpiece fish??

Buy a bottle of Seachem's Stability, you can add fish the first day of your tank set up.

add new-life bacteria. You can add fish quickly and it works well.

...or be patient and do a fishless cycle. Save some money that way as well. But to each his/her own.
