Red aquatic plant?

Hello!

I would like to make my tank more beautiful by adding a red or purple plant. Any suggestions? I don't add any extra co2 to my tank, and I think the light is medium or medium-low.

red dwarf lily might be the only one you might be able to get away without adding anything special.

there are various kinds of crypt wendtii that look like different colors under different lighting conditions.

Red plants definitely need more lighting. I recommend avoiding them, especially if they have small leaves (like the Ludwigia repens "Rubin"). I had to perpetually remove leaves that just dropped off, even though my tank had plenty of lighting (+3.5 W/Gallon), CO2, and plant fertilizer.

CO2 seems to do an excellent job of compensating for poor light conditions.

Planticus plasticus might be the best solution. I'm just a little bit worried that it will look very fake when standing next to the real plants...
