Lighting help

I have just bought a fifty gallon tank (i think it is 55 but the sticker said 50). The tank comes with a hood that holds two 18in lights. Could I mix a Flora Glo and a Life Glo, one on each side. Or should I stick with two of the same, and if so which ones would you all recommend. The guy at Petsmart suggested two Flora Glo. I would like to do more than low light plants, but if that is not possible with my current setup thats okay. Tank will have guppies, mollies, H. raspbora, oto, plus some new ones.

That wattage will not grow much. You could try mosses, anubia and java ferns. The bulb color would need to be around 6400K.

Okay thanks for the help, those are the plants that I have in the other tank and they are doing very well.
