Hello,

I have had Blue Green Algea problems for a while now. I rrealzed that I didn't have any CO2, So I DIY made one, and then the algea problem went down a little. A month later, it came back. I figured it was a nutrient problem, then started adding nutrients for a month, with no results. I figured, now it must be the lighting. I have two compact Coralife fluorescents, one Colormax, one 6700 K, however I do not know the wattage, as I got it second hand and the person did not tell me( I should have asked).
The only plants doing well are my Bacopa, my java fern and my anubias barteri.
What is happening, I have no idea. I read the stick about plant balance sticky, but I tried rising and lowering the nutrients. I don't know what to do

Sorry for the long post

Nitrates at one is a problem you need to be around ten for healthy plants.
