I have two black moors. I was thinking of putting in a red light in the aquarium...
T i think it would look cool...i wanted to know if it would have any adverse effects on my fish...
Also, I have a UGF + two airstones + an internal filter {170gPh}
What kind of filter would best suit my fish?
I was thinking of getting a Power filter...

It would depend on the size of your tank for the power filter.
Can't comment on the red lighting though. I've never seen it myself.

I have got a 35 gal tank...
And about the red lighting...i thought it was a unique concept...and it would look good...

you should let the tank be dark for most of the night. Fish need darkness to sleep just like humans. If you just wanted to use it for a few hours, now and then, or during the day when there is room light as well, then I should think it'd be okay.
As for the filter, I might recommend an Aquaclear 50. I have one for my tank with two veiltails and I'm quite pleased with it.

I do let the tank be dark for most of the night...the 'normal' sleep cycle...
So i guess i could get a red light for daylight use...
