can anyone show me a picture of a pregnant platy that going to give birth. i know 3 of my plties r pregnant. i'm not sure when to separate them. and picture of pregnant molly too.

I dont keep Platy, but I got a big bunch of Mollies, and the girls seem always to be prgnant:hmm3grin2orange:

wow.. extremely big one.. lol.. how many week does she get this big?? and how many days does she give birth after this picture was taken?? is that balloon molly?? i dont have normal molly. only ballooon..

I guess that Molly is a mixture between Poecilia sphenops and Poecilia velifera. If she she has some "Ballonmolly"blood in her vains, dont ask me.

All I can say, she is, as all my Mollyfemales a big one. My biggest Mollywife was almost 9 cm!!!!

I think almost every female in those pics is pregnant, arnt they always??

thanx. they look like platy ya??i really dont know how to differenciate them. maybe some of my platies could be mollies. that's why i prrefer balloon molly. and sorry.. u forgot to answer how many months does she get that big (your previous picture). ('u')

I bought her already as grown animal, but I also "breed" mollies. Lets say 6 months and they are quite big. Depends on many factors: water quality, food, stress or no stress, room...badly upbrought Mollies stay small.

Time of being prgenant 5 to 7 weeks

thanx.. i just bought a 10g tank.planning to make it a planted tank.then i dont need to worry so much for the fryes being eaten. i hope i can find some hemianthus callitrichoides here in malaysia to put on my driftwood. i heard they form beautiful bubbles.. by the way.. do u have that?? r they easy to keep?? i dont have a co2 yet.. but planning to buy soon.
