I currently have 6 Glowlight Tetras and they are a little nippy. I plan to add at least 6 more to the school and before doing so I was wondering if they will be less nippy in a school of 12 or more?

yes. Larger schools are less stressed and should be less aggressive/nippy both amongst themselves and towards other fish.

Great, thanks! I will add at least 6 more this weekend/next week after monitoring the tank parameters. Hopefully everything will settle soon. I had 6 hyper aggressive Silvertips and had to tear the entire tank apart to catch them.

I added 6 more Glowlights and they are shoaling together the majority of the time. It is an awesome sight! I can not wait to introduce a dozen Neons and a dozen Rummy Noses!

They are no longer paying attention to the other fish in the aquarium, they stay to them selves.

I don't have a camera and for some reason the camera on my Blackberry Storm does not take good pictures of the fish, even though it was a 3.2MP camera on it. It must be the water...
