In the local pond where i catch gambusia from to feed my barramundi and other animals who eat the fish, i always trod on branches that have sunk to the bottom of the pond that would look nice in a tank, my question is, if i take them out and still boil them would they be safe for the aquarium, they would have been in the pond for years so most of the tannin i presume would be gone, the trees which drop the branches into the water are Eucalyptus Trees and Grey Gum Trees

I plan on putting them set up so that i may release crickets on them above the waters surface and when my archerfish is hungry it will shoot the crickets down

Yeah the cheapest i had seen them ever was $40 for a 2 incher, but i got a bloke i know who sells fish from his backyard to order some in for me and he sold them to me for $22 and its about 2.5 inches long so i still gotta set the tank up before videoing but i will i promise drumachine09
