View Full Version : a good water testing kit

hi i want to check out a few places online for a water testing kit, i have been bringing my water everyweek to a shop to get it tested and want to get my own, the testing kit in the shop is 40quid i want to see if i can get a good one cheaper online, any suggestions?

i think most people on this forum would agree that the liquid master test kit by API seems to be the best. thats what i use and it has never failed me.

yes indeed! It may be a bit pricey, but a water testing kit's not something you want to skimp on. You want something you know will always work well.

Agreed!

Its not necessarily the "best method", that would be electronic readers. However, most of us dont have 200$ ea for them, so API Liquid FW Master test kits are the way to go. thumbs2:

Online you can find them as cheap as 20 dollars.

The API Freshwater Master Test Kit is what I use. Can be found on Walmart.com for $17.64. I just purchased one kit in March and couple of the bottles had Lot Dates of 2010.
