One of our cats has been having an increase in eye discharge collecting just below the eyes-- on both sides of her nose. She's not showing any other signs of sickness. She's social, interested in food and playful. I'm thinking it's just a blocked tear duct.

What do you guys think?

Also, she's a beautiful, white cat. The discharge itself is clear, but I think it gathers dirt and turns dark, then stains her. Any tips on getting rid of the stains?

Sounds as your cat has an eye infection or allergy to something. Does she go outside and walk thru tall grasses? You get rid of the problem and the rest will go away, I think. I would wash her eyes out with cold water, for now.

Agreed, mabe she is allergic to animal dander...lol JK. No seriously I agree with Lady Hobbs and add you let the vet take a look or at least call them.
